CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
When children walk into Buena Vista Wesleyan Church, we want them to have fun, know that they are loved, they are safe, and above all – Jesus loves them and wants a relationship with them!

We provide several environments on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights that are each designed to lead our children into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
SUNDAYS
Sunday School
Our church offers an active Sunday School program for all ages, every Sunday from 9:50a - 10:50a. Our
current curriculum for our children
is The Gospel Project, which takes kids
on a Christ-centered, chronological
journey through scripture. When you
arrive, see an usher for your child's
classroom location.
Children's Church
Our church offers Children’s Church for
your children grades K-4th grade
every Sunday (except for 5th Sundays).
Children's church takes place during the sermon time of the main services. Children participate in worship with their families and then are dismissed to Children's Church before the sermon. Children may stay with their families during the service if that is preferred. In Children’s Church, your child will take part in biblical learning, crafts, and music.
Nursery
Our church offers skilled nursery care during both services and Sunday School for children from birth to 4 years old.
WEDNESDAYS
Clubhouse
Clubhouse is offered on Wednesday nights 6:30-8pm, September through April, for children grades
Pre-K through 6th grade. The
clubhouse program seeks to
help children develop their
faith in God, while learning how
to show God's love to others
through their relationships.
During Clubhouse, children meet
in small groups where they get a
chance to learn about their faith
through Bible study material and activities covered during their class time. In addition, these kids get to participate in music, chapel, and recreation activities each week.
SUMMER
VBS
Vacation Bible School, or VBS, is offered each year sometime during June or July, for ages 2 through 6th grade. This Monday through Friday VBS program runs from
9 - noon and is a blast for
the youngest child to the
oldest volunteer.
Children will spend the
week learning about God's
word based on a general
theme, while also enjoying
wild games, crafts, music,
science experiments, and
snacks.
We also have a competition
to see who can raise the most funds for a chosen mission project with the winners getting to pie the pastors!
Look for more up to date VBS information in our church bulletin, newsletter, and website near the end of Spring.
