How is the Covid-19 Virus Impacting Buena Vista? Greetings Buena Vista Family, Can I remind us all of God’s declaration in Psalm 46:1, 2a “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in times of trouble. Therefore we will not fear!” Another week has come and with it new regulations and recommendations from a variety of levels and voices. The Wesleyan Church, both on the denominational and district levels has asked all local churches to cooperate in doing our part in seeking to limit the spread of Covid-19, especially among the most vulnerable. Our administrative, custodial and ministerial staff met on Tuesday and after much consideration, prayer and consultation with others have set the following guidelines going forward. Some of these decisions were mandated to us while others seemed, after considerable thought, to be the wisest course of action.
At this point we will be maintaining regular office and work hours.
Due to the 50 or less meeting requirement, Sunday worship, Sunday school and youth are canceled until further notice. We will be posting an appropriate service + message on our website that will be available Sundays. www.bvwesleyan.com

We would also like to suggest some actions on your part that will enable our church to weather this temporary storm: Spend time in God’s Word / Pray often / Don’t horde, help others / As you are able, please consider sending your tithes and offerings to the church / Rejoice in the Lord and take confidence in His care for the world needs to see we are people of faith, not fear. Philippians 4:6,7 “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
