So many times we try to go it alone for several reasons. Sometimes it’s because we don’t have close friends to confide in. Sometimes, we don’t have a safe forum in which to connect. Sometimes, a church may seem like a large and foreign place. Whatever the reason, the Church needs to be a place that people can feel connected to.
As a Church grows, it becomes even more important to provide avenues by which people can connect with each other. As a way to do this, we as a Church are launching re-imagining of our home-based groups. These groups, called Connect Groups, focus on connecting with others and connecting with God. They provide a place where you can relax and be yourself, build relationships, and study God’s word in an inviting way. Connect Groups allow for for accountability, encouragement, and prayer.
Because of their relaxed atmosphere, Connect Groups allow for those who may not otherwise share, to share. It allows those who would not pray in public to join together in prayer with others in the group. Connect Groups will help us lift each other up during hard times and rejoice with each other during times of victory. Previous Series have included;
